Empowering our community Through Education and service

Our Mixed Martial Arts Program educates youth and adults with the skills to defend themselves through the healthy and creative styles of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing. At the Program’s core lies the recognition of art as the manifestation of theory, practice and creativity. 

Our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs are designed to inspire and engage young people in these important fields. We offer programs in areas such as robotics, coding, and environmental science.

HCS provides in-school & after-school arts and STEM instruction to local schools as well as community-based organizations looking for vendors to partner in equipping youth with viable skills and talents to prepare them for their future. 30 to 60 Sessions: 60 mins each session. Sessions are from October to May

Haven Community Services (HCS) provides an innovative vocational education program designed to equip high school students in grades 10 and above with essential skills in construction, carpentry, interior painting, architectural design, and entrepreneurship. This program aims to empower students by providing hands-on training, fostering entrepreneurial spirit, and offering mentorship opportunities. 

We believe in the importance of giving back to the community. That's why we offer a variety of community service opportunities for young people to get involved in and make a difference.

In partnership with local schools, churches, and community centers, HCS facilitates workshops and training on topics related to educational, economic, and food justice

 Ensuring access to nutritious food is vital for healthy communities. Through food distribution pop-ups, gardening workshops, and nutritional education sessions, we promote sustainable food systems and fight food insecurity.
